I am team captain of our team, the Boo-Bees, and we will be holding a Yard Sale/ Bake Sale/ Craft Sale on August 20, 2011 from 8am-5pm to raise funds to meet our team goal and to raise awareness about breast cancer. 100% of all proceeds will be donated to Komen Denver Race for the Cure to be used for early detection, treatment, education and research!

Every penny counts! For example...every $100 raised will pay for a mammogram for someone who would otherwise go without. Early detection is the key to survival! One in 8 women will get breast cancer...in Colorado it is one in 7! Lets not forget that men, also, get breast cancer! One in 100 men will be affected by this devastating disease. We must find a cure! Please stop by and support our teams effort to combat breast cancer!
We will have lots of treasures for you to look at and purchase as well as some yummies and also some various crafted items to round it all out. It will be lots of fun so bring the kids, grab a friend and swing on in! There will be something for everyone! Thank you in advance for your support!
