Wild Flowers Family Childcare is a licensed in-home daycare and we are a little different then most. All the food we serve (breakfast, lunch and snack) are home-made from scratch using primarily organic ingredients. We are a no-television home so you children will not spent the day watching videos, rather they will be outside helping in our (small) vegetable garden, playing in the sand box, having campouts in the "forest" (a little wooded area in our yard), kneading bread for lunch, playing with our natural (wood, cloth etc) high quality toys, and engaging in age appropriate crafts. I have a BA in Education, taught preschool for nearly 4 years and I have two daughters of my own. I believe that for younger children a home-like setting is ideal as well as being surrounded by children of different ages.
